Glass Ball Productions or The Broken Ball is an American film and television production company of the animator Gabriel Garcia. Its productions include the animated series Geo's World, The Geo Team, Geo TV and Cland Ann. It was established in 1988.
History[]
Glass Ball Productions was founded in 1982 as The Broken Ball before Glass Ball was created until 1988. In 1988, The Broken Ball was renamed as Glass Ball Productions.
In 1993, the company was acquired by Geo LTD.
In 2014, it was announced that Glass Ball revealed the new logo, opened offices to Seoul (South Korea), Tokyo (Japan), London (United Kingdom) and Paris (France) and the films (Sam The Pig, The Good Rain, Geo Guy and the Rampage of Gree Guy, Geo Guy and the Attack of the Evil Minions and Geo Guy and the Return of Gree Guy and Memy9909) were announced for the 2015 release, while Geo's Heroes 2 release date is uncomfirmed for official release date, but was expected to be released between 2015 and 2016.
The visual effects department was acquired by Libum Labs in 2014 and is currently known as DevilFish Creative FX, employing the former employees of Industrial Light & Magic and Digital Domain.
